Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Provide archaeological services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include conducting field work, identifying artifacts, laboratory analysis, writing reports, preparing proposals, and consulting with clients and stakeholders.

Essential Functions and Duties: Conduct fieldwork including survey, testing, and data recovery projectsPreparing reportsAssisting with laboratory analysesConsulting with federal and state agencies, tribal groups, and other stakeholdersMaking National Register recommendationsProviding guidance and mentoring to more junior-level staff Requirements/Preferences:Master’s degree or above (required)Minimum of two years of experience in the Eastern U.S. (required)Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; ability to pass drug screening; and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable violation history (required)Secretary of Interior qualified as an Archaeologist (preferred)Register of Professional Archaeologist (RPA) (preferred)Trained as a Historical Archaeologist (preferred)
