CTG is seeking to fill an Archer Developer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Overview: Under the supervision of a senior developer/manager, the Archer Developer provides designs and specifies information systems solutions to address both basic and complex problems or enhancements. This role involves evaluating client requirements and processes, developing and preparing application environments, and participating in day-to-day support activities and special projects. The Archer Developer will contribute to a variety of tasks using different platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. Primary Responsibilities: Perform basic to intermediate systems analysis, design, and development tasks. Act as an individual contributor on projects, providing support where needed. Assist clients in addressing issues and provide diverse, feasible solutions and recommendations. Collaborate with development, operations, and technology teams on system testing and integration. Prepare and execute detailed test plans, including test data creation and debugging tasks. Assess and understand the interrelationships among programs and interfacing applications. Develop clear technical and functional specifications for small to medium-scope projects. Update and maintain systems documentation. Create charts, tables, and diagrams to support problem analysis. Assist in the preparation of logic flowcharts as needed. Prepare task plans and estimates for assignments, ensuring clear and timely deliverables. Recommend new technology, policies, or processes to enhance organizational efficiency. Provide consultation services to clients, technicians, and departments on basic application functionality. Understand and adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues when necessary. Promote a diverse and inclusive environment that aligns with the company’s brand. Ensure adherence to internal control standards and collaborate on audit and regulatory matters. Complete other related duties and projects as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: Assist in small to medium-scale projects and specific phases of larger initiatives. Handle a range of tasks from systems analysis to development and testing, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Participate in daily support activities, ensuring optimal application performance and issue resolution. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: This role does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities. However, the Archer Developer will collaborate with senior developers and other project teams. Education and Experience Required: Associate’s degree or 2 years of related work experience. 3-5 years of experience as an Archer Developer. 3-5 years of experience with Archer Automated Work Flow & Administration. Archer Development experience is mandatory. Proficiency in PowerShell, SSIS, and SQL Server. Solid knowledge of the system development life cycle and application development alternatives. Experience with development tools, application support software, and hardware platforms. Basic understanding of personal computers and software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to varied audiences. Proven interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and strong judgment. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously. Education and Experience Preferred: Basic project management skills. Successful completion of a Bank-approved skills development program. 1 year of involvement in systems analysis and application development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Broad understanding of the business unit’s role and how it fits within the organization. General knowledge of the bank's application framework. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and applicable licensure or certifications.
