Archibus Analyst
Overview The Archibus IWMS Analyst will support our government client and will serve as a subject matter expert on the application, adaptation and integration of computer applications and associated data that are used in facilities management activities and functions of the client’s real property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a background in the operation and management of U.S. Government, Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Intelligence Community (IC) facilities and the multiple computer applications – ARCHIBUS, Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit – used across the full spectrum of facilities planning, management and operations activities. Responsibilities Design, develop and test ARCHIBUS Web Central Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM), Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications. Provide subject matter expertise on strategies, techniques and solutions to integrate applications and data used in the management of complex facilities and facilities systems Support the implementation of approved solutions regarding the use and integration of facilities management activities, applications and data Communicate with clients to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Develop and document technical specifications from customer's requirements. Use industry-standard software, tools, technology, programming techniques and workflow rules to modify ARCHIBUS functionality. As appropriate, support customization of database schema, SQL Scripts, and stored procedures. Support development of real-time and batch-type interfaces to external databases. Integrate ARCHIBUS with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit to use floor-plan drawings. Communicate objectives and schedules to management, clients, and stakeholders. Provide domain expertise around specific areas of software development. Support creation and implementation of user documentation including guides and whitepapers for customers. Provide input to project schedules. Provide input to software development tracking tool (Jira or similar) on tasks and required level of effort. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education/Certificates: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within related field. Experience: 7 - 10 years' of experience in facilities operations/planning/management, or a related field, including a demonstrated understanding of the Facility Management industry, processes and technology 3+ years' Java, XML, and JavaScript development experience Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the ARCHIBUS Integrated Workplace management System (IWMS), Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, or equivalent systems and applications Working knowledge with Web Central APIs Skills: Working knowledge of Oracle Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable with interacting with department heads and managers Comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of the full suite of Microsoft Office programs Proven briefing, project management, organizational, and communication skills Desired: Professional Degree in Engineering or Architecture, or a related field.
