Urban Practice, LLC is dedicated to providing seamless, integrated architectural and urban design services to build communities that lift lives. Our team works closely with development, construction and management at The Michaels Organization to provide complete and thoroughly coordinated communities. Coordinates project design, develops creative design concepts for projects, and prepares presentation and design drawings.  Certification as a licensed professional is required.

               

Responsibilities Works independently on architectural design projects.Often coordinates project design efforts.Prepares presentation and design drawings and details.Substantial experience in providing planning and design support in the preparation of design development.Written and verbal communication with clients, engineers and architects. Qualifications

Required Experience: Five to ten years of experience in an architectural firm.

Required Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program

Required Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in BIM (ArchiCAD a major plus) + rendering/modeling/graphic experience. Experience with multi-family residential planning/design is preferred.

Working Conditions:   Typical office environment. Occasional long hours to meet deadlines.  Occasional visits to construction sites.

 

Salary Range Information
