Job Title: Intermediate Project Architect

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Intermediate Project Architect. You will support the project team in developing design drawings, construction documents, and drawing coordination. You will coordinate working drawings with project consultants and perform site surveys, prepare due diligence reports, and conduct building code reviews. Collaborate with the Design Team to interpret design concepts into workable construction drawings, evaluate alternatives, and maintain quality control. Perform Construction Administration duties, including site visits, RFI’s, shop drawing reviews, and change order reviews. You will communicate regularly with project managers, consultants, and team members to ensure work meets client requirements and is completed on schedule and within budget. Additionally, you may work with clients to confirm objectives, prepare and conduct design and technical presentations, and participate in marketing efforts.

Qualifications4-10 years professional experienceBachelor or Master Degree in architecture or equivalentExperience in Workplace, Retail or Media/Broadcast preferredExtensive experience in developing Design & Construction DocumentsThorough knowledge of construction materials, standards, codesOnsite construction field experience requiredProficiency in REVITHand sketching ability is a plusWork Environment

HYBRID OFFICE SCHEDULE - 4 days in, Fridays at home. Must be available for client meetings or site visits as required on Fridays from time to time. Our office has a casual dress code, and we foster a collaborative and respectful environment. We celebrate Margarita Fridays, or Wine and Cheese Fridays in the winter. The partners are hands-on and approachable, creating an open studio environment where communication flows freely.
