Job Description
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our dynamic architecture team. We have openings for Project Associate I, II, and III levels. The ideal candidates will support project teams in the development of design documentation and assist Project Managers in creating and revising drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Responsibilities
+ Support project teams in the development of design documentation.
+ Assist Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with the creation and revision of drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
+ Produce design and construction drawings, including specifications, for design, bid, permit, and client review.
+ Conduct code and permitting research.
+ Research landlord criteria, building codes, and local building department requirements.
+ Coordinate with outside project consultants (civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical).
+ Communicate with manufacturers and vendors to gather information regarding products and systems for construction documents.
+ Incorporate client, city, and QC revisions/redlines into construction documents.
+ Prepare responses to address comments from outside drawing reviews.
+ Provide architectural support to Project Managers on multiple projects.
+ Prepare and develop layouts and architectural drawings according to client requests.
+ Assist in the permitting process, manage submittals, and prepare packages for permit submittal.
+ Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client reviews.
+ Perform site observations and gather existing building conditions.
+ Manage task completion in accordance with project milestones and assist with maintaining and updating the project schedule.
+ Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to complete a full set of drawings with minimal errors or supervision.
+ Assist with reviews of shop drawings, submittals, responses to RFIs, and other construction administration tasks.
+ Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
Essential Skills
+ Professional experience producing construction documents in Revit for commercial architecture projects.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
+ Ability to complete tasks in SD and CD phases with minimal supervision.
+ Familiarity with building codes.
+ Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, B.Arch., or M.Arch.
+ 2-6 years of experience working in a commercial architecture firm.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ On track to licensure.
+ Experience working on ground-up construction projects.
+ Experience working on retail or restaurant projects.
+ Experience participating in construction administration.

Hybrid work schedule requires in-office presence twice a week
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.69
