The team
Within Payment & Settlement Services Architecture we are looking for a new Domain Architect. You will be joining an experienced team of 20 Architects that work together with Business and Technology colleagues to realize our goals that drive our vision. The team is based in Amsterdam and works to further develop ING’s global services. This position will be focused on the Payment Initiation & Order Management domain.
Key Responsibilities
Design future ready Payment Initiation & Order Management PlatformMaintain and enhance the designs of existing technology stackEngage with development teams and review/approve technical designsCreate reference architecturesDeliver architecture roadmapsOrganize and support workshops and presentations for decision makingTranslate policy and requirements into solutionsContribute to the creation of global standardsManage stakeholders across multiple departments in various countriesBecome the go-to person for Payment Initiation & Order management architectureAre up to date with the latest technologies trends on Platform Architecture, specially Cloud Native Apps, Well Architected Framework (nice to have)Work independent under limited guidance with a strong drive to collaborate with other stakeholdersKey Capabilities/Experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field / equivalent work experience.You have at least 3 years of experience as an architect or a similar role.Have experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial institutions)Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical topics to various audiences.Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.You improve yourself constantly; and you challenge, improve and train others continuously.Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical topics to various audiences.Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies, processes (e.g., TOGAF), service management processes and an agile work environment.Minimum Qualifications
