Job Description

We are seeking an Intermediate Architect (Drafter) to support the creation of a CD set for a single-family renovation project, specifically a historic house in Hudson Valley. This role involves production efforts and coordination with MEP/Structural under the guidance of the owner and another Architect.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the creation of construction document sets (CDs) for a single-family renovation project.Coordinate with MEP/Structural teams.Collaborate closely with the owner and another Architect.Produce high-quality design and drafting work using AutoCAD.Ensure design adherence to traditional/classical architectural styles, especially for high-end residential projects.Essential Skills5-10 years of experience in architecture.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Experience in assembling full sets of construction documents (CDs).Experience in single-family residential design, ideally with high-end and classical style homes.Familiarity with tools such as Bluebeam and SketchUp.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong drafting and design skills.Ability to work effectively within a team.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality design.Work Environment

The position requires in-office work 5 days a week, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a business professional dress code.

There is minimal overtime required.

The office consists of a staff of 20, including 4 architects, with the remaining team members being administrative staff and interior designers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
