Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architect to lead the life cycle of FISP projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering, with over three years of experience in a FISP/Local Law 11 role. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to go onsite across the five boroughs to inspect buildings.

ResponsibilitiesLead the life cycle of FISP projectsGo onsite to inspect buildings, typically 7 stories tall, with the tallest being around 20 storiesPrepare drawings, mark up drawings, and complete project manuals for biddingFile with the DOB and assist clients with contract negotiationsLead startup meetings for projects and conduct regular inspectionsConduct weekly meetings with the contractor and owners representative, and record meeting minutesRevise drawings, review submittals, and review change ordersManage anywhere from 2-8 projects at a time, depending on the scaleHave daily and weekly check-ins with team members and the principalEssential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering3+ years in a FISP/Local Law 11 roleProficiency in AutoCADProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsQEWI Certified or an interest in getting certifiedRegistered Architect or PEWork Environment

This position offers the flexibility to work from home when not onsite, with work hours typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You are expected to go onsite 3-4 days per week. Work can be slower from November to March, averaging around 35 hours a week, whereas from April to October, the workload is around 40 hours per week with potential for some overtime. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00/hr.
