Job Title: ArchitectJob Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architect with a strong background in drafting and designing high-end single family residential homes. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Architecture or a related field and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction using AutoCAD. Responsibilities + Draft complex high-end single family residential construction drawings using AutoCAD. + Prepare construction documents, including interior elevations and finishes for single-family homes. + Conduct field measurements and draft existing conditions. + Communicate with vendors to obtain specifications. Essential Skills + Full proficiency in AutoCAD. + Full proficiency in Sketchup. + Experience in drafting and designing high-end single family residential homes. + Ability to produce complete sets of construction drawings, including elevations, sections, and details. + Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction drafting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Architecture-related degree. + Experience in architectural design and project architecture. + Knowledge of how high-end single family homes are conceptually put together. Work Environment You will work in a small office environment with a team of four, providing exposure to all phases of projects and direct interaction with the principal architect. The office handles large projects, often upwards of 20,000 sq ft, and focuses on high-end, modern architectural designs. The team operates collaboratively without egos, ensuring everyone pitches in to complete tasks. Office hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM with a one-hour lunch break. The firm has a reputation for not repeating the same project twice, ensuring a dynamic and varied work experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
