As an Enterprise IT Monitoring Engineer you are responsible for implementing, operating, and maintaining monitoring solutions for large-scale IT & OT applications within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure organization and our customers. They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, security and transparency of our building technologies. You will work as part of the development team together with business representatives in an international environment to define and manage the technical integrations from Siemens proprietary systems into a monitoring suite. 

Your mission will be… Design and Build Data Systems: Define complex database schemas with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage. Develop data processing solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.Data Flow Management: Define and manage data flow between different teams and systems. Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential issues and maintain data consistency.Data Quality Management: Analyze, clean, and structure large data sets to optimize data quality and data usability. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the development teams and other stakeholders to ensure that data solutions are aligned with business requirements. Manage dependencies between teams and systems.Maintain and Optimize Systems: Monitor and optimize performance of the data architecture. Ensure all systems meet business requirements and industry practices.Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that our organization remains at the forefront of the industry.
We`re looking for:Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Analyst or similar role in data managementExpertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power BIStrong understanding of databases, data analysis, and big data technologies+3 years of experience in Microsoft cloud technologiesCapable of designing and analyzing data models for transactional and analytical needs and implementing efficient ETL/ELT processes.Experience in Azure services as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and Azure SQL DatabaseHigh interest in working with Data, dependencies and test methodologiesBasic experience in agile IT, e.g. SAFE or Scrum FrameworkGreat oral and written skills in EnglishCommunication and networking skills in an intercultural environment and across all management levelsYou will have to be proactive, work with a team and be able to solve problemsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details in a clear and understandable mannerDefining and leading the Testing Team to ensure the dependencies between different teams and technologies are consideredRemember, effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role!
