Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, design, and maintain Debezium-based replication solutions for a large ERP system.
• Develop custom connectors to integrate with multiple platforms.
• Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake internals and integrate Snowflake with other technologies for data processing and reporting.
• Design and implement Kafka-based messaging systems to stream data in real-time to Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data quality problems.
• Respond promptly to production incidents and service interruptions, troubleshoot root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure service availability as per defined SLA.
• Implement monitoring tools and metrics to track the performance and health of data replications. Analyze system logs and metrics to proactively identify issues, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall system efficiency.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive them to successful resolution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, replication, and ETL tools.
• 4+ years of experience with Debezium/confluent and Kafka-based solutions preferred.
• Strong understanding of database architectures and data replication.
• Architect, develop, design, and maintain Debezium-based replication solutions for a large ERP system.
• Develop custom connectors to integrate with multiple platforms.
• Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake internals and integrate Snowflake with other technologies for data processing and reporting.
