Role description
This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. We are seeking an Architect I to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the technical aspects of smaller or less complex tasks and contribute to components of larger projects. You will ensure that objectives related to financial performance, quality, timelines, and health and safety are consistently met. As an Architect I, you will manage the delivery of project elements in alignment with company management systems, ensuring adherence to budget, quality, deadlines, and safety standards. Typically, you will take on a leading technical role in medium-sized or moderately complex tasks within a single discipline, coordinating and managing teams of designers and technicians within your area of expertise.
This role is a task management position aligned with the company's Task Manager Academy competency requirements. You will focus on delivering exceptional results, fostering strong internal stakeholder relationships, and championing care and collaboration across all engagements.
Role accountabilities:
Perform role in accordance with Arcadis behavioral framework. Promote Arcadis Health and Safety Principles during the planning and delivery of work. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces. Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice. Develop and maintain technical knowledge (for example, national regulations, regulatory guidance, national standards, codes of practice and Arcadis procedures) to ensure ongoing personal effectiveness. Plan assigned project work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources Monitor the performance of team members, identifying and ensuring any issues are resolved. Develop effective working relationships with the Task Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of progress, changes and the resolution of issues. Coach, guide and provide technical advice to junior team members, to support them in their delivery of the project and in their professional development.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Architect with demonstrable experience on wide range of complex projects at different stages. Minimum 7 years experience architecture design works. Experience in wood frame constructions, residential or other type, is required. Proficient InDesign, AutoCad, Sketchup, Revit, Adobe Suite, TwinMotion, Enscape. BIM knowledge is preferred. Fluent in written and spoken English is essential. Excellent communication skills.Why Arcadis?
