About the role

As an Architect II (AKS) you will be a part of the consulting practice and would be a practitioner of cutting-edge automation tools and provisioning in a public cloud provider – Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred – as well as designing a deploying well-architected cloud solution. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success delivering cloud solutions with IaC automation on projects.

Work as part of Insight and client teams, following Agile/Scrum approaches and ceremonies Communicate effectively and professionally with teammates, client personnel, and client stakeholders As an AKS Architect, you will- Work on implementing hands on AKS solutions. Work on AKS Kubernetes Infrastructure large number of clusters Multiple AKS clusters, AKS using ACR, Azure DevOps CI-CD pipeline Setup Ingress/Egress load balancer, Akamai DNS service Integrate Azure firewall integration Be a technical champion for customer Develop hybrid cloud reference architecture, Define target state cloud architecture. Provide design, engineering, development, planning, and administration of Azure Kubernetes AKS clusters for a set of critical business applications. Provide design, engineering, development, planning and administration of Azure PaaS and IaaS services through extensive use of automation and terraform. Work closely with the application, engineering, security, and operations teams to engineer and build Kubernetes and Azure PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile and modern enterprise-grade operating model. Design solutions for Kubernetes based architecture while making sure the best practices are followed Ability to create infrastructure as a code. Implement the SRE principles. Experience with migrating workloads to AKS. DevOps and Agile methodologies, processes and tools Confidently articulates all aspects of the solution and persuasively communicate value to the client. Work individually, within teams, or as a leader, to determine customer requirements in complex and ambiguous environments. What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Certifications in relevant technologies, cloud providers, or demonstration of ongoing learning 8+ years of experience in consulting services or similar roles focused on project-based work, and/or solution development.   Strong AKS experience (Designing, monitoring, solutioning) and expert understanding of cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure. Microservices architecture, and Hybrid cloud integration architecture. Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as knowledge in container architectures and deployment Expert with Cloud Adoption Frameworks and Well-Architected Frameworks; have solid experience delivering CAF and WAF engagements Experience with on-prem to cloud migrations Experience designing and deploying cloud architectures that include disaster recovery sites, as well as designing, implementing and executing failovers and failbacks In-depth experience in automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Configuration-as-Code (CaC) and management of cloud hosted resources Experience working in a DevOps and Agile culture Experience with DevOps and IaC tools such as Hashicorp Terraform, Azure Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins is preferred Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet Background in application development, .Net, or other development frameworks is a plus Background in systems engineering, networking, and server infrastructure is helpful Azure Cloud architect certified
