Job Title: Architect (Transportation / Transit)
Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated architect with excellent design and technical skills. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be driven to apply their expertise to the development of superior architecture. Experience in creating engaging graphics for building design presentations is essential. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional client service. Some limited travel within 400 miles may be required.

ResponsibilitiesProvide design to construction administration support for a broad range of clients including Federal and Municipal Government, Higher Education and Research institutions, K-12 Schools, and Industrial/Manufacturing clients.Assist in the design of high-performance buildings, historic preservation projects, learning environments, transit centers, office environments, and mission-critical and secure facilities.Create interesting and engaging graphics for building design presentations.Ensure thorough and exceptional client service.Essential SkillsProficient in RevitExperience in construction documentation and building detailingProficient in AutoCAD™Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and WordLicensed architect with 10+ years of related experience in transit and transportation architectural designExperience designing stations, maintenance, and other support facilitiesAccredited Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's)Additional Skills & QualificationsUrban design experience is a plusExperience with Sketchup, Illustrator, PhotoShop, and other graphics programsU.S. Citizenship requiredWork Environment

The architecture/interiors group consists of 31 people, primarily based out of the Baltimore office. Teams typically comprise 3-5 architects working collaboratively. The firm encourages office presence to foster collaboration, with senior architects, project managers, and principals/VPs present in the office daily. A hybrid schedule is offered after 6 months of employment. The firm supports various project types and offers several career paths for development. Employees are compensated for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
