Job Title: Architect (Transportation / Transit)Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled architect with strong design and technical abilities to develop superior architecture for transportation and transit projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be motivated to provide exceptional client service. Experience in creating engaging graphics for building design presentations is essential. This role may involve limited project-related travel within a 400-mile radius. Responsibilities + Provide design to CA support for a broad range of Federal and Municipal Government, Higher Education and Research institutions, K-12 School, and Industrial/Manufacturing clients. + Assist in the design of high-performance buildings, historic preservation, learning environments, transit centers, office environments, and mission-critical and secure facilities. + Create engaging and interesting graphics for building design presentations. + Ensure thorough and detail-oriented architectural designs. + Collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional client service. Essential Skills + Proficient in Revit™ and AutoCAD™. + Experience in construction documentation and building detailing. + Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word. + Licensed architect with 10+ years of related experience in transit and transportation architectural design. + Design experience must include stations, maintenance, and other support facilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's). + Experience with Sketchup, Illustrator, PhotoShop, and other graphics programs desirable. + Urban design experience is a plus. + U.S. Citizenship required. Work Environment The architecture/interiors group consists of 31 people, primarily based out of the Baltimore office. Teams typically consist of 3-5 architects working collaboratively. The work environment is extremely collaborative, encouraging employees to come into the office as much as possible. Senior architects, project managers, and principals/VPs are also present in the office every day. A hybrid schedule is offered after 6 months of employment, with opportunities to work on a broad range of project types, including data centers, office space, auxiliary buildings, and industrial maintenance facilities.
