Job Title: Architect (Transportation / Transit) Job Description We are seeking an experienced architect with strong design and technical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop superior architecture and possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in creating engaging graphics for building design presentations is essential. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional client service. Some limited travel within 400 miles may be required. Responsibilities + Provide design to CA support for a broad range of clients including Federal and Municipal Government, Higher Education and Research institutions, K-12 Schools, and Industrial/Manufacturing clients. + Assist in the design of high-performance buildings, historic preservation, learning environments, transit centers, office environments, and mission-critical and secure facilities. + Create interesting and engaging graphics for building design presentations. + Ensure thorough and detailed construction documentation and building detailing. + Collaborate with teams of 3-5 architects to deliver exceptional client service. Essential Skills + Proficient in AutoCAD™ and Revit™ + Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word + Substantial experience in construction documentation and building detailing + Licensed architect with 10+ years of related experience in transit and transportation-related architectural design + Design experience including stations, maintenance, and other support facilities + Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's) Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Sketchup, Illustrator, PhotoShop, and other graphics programs + Urban design experience is a plus + U.S. Citizenship required Work Environment The architecture and interiors group comprises 31 people, primarily based out of the Baltimore office. Teams usually consist of 3-5 architects working collaboratively, leveraging their strengths. We encourage employees to work in the office as much as possible, where architects, project managers, and principals are present daily. After six months of employment, a hybrid schedule is offered. The role focuses on transit and transportation-related projects. We offer several career paths for development and recognize hours worked in excess of 40 with straight compensation Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
