Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer with over 5 years in the industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-family, and commercial projects and be proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD. This role involves the production of drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of numerous apartments across New York City and the surrounding region. Candidates should also have experience with historic preservation and rehabilitation.
ResponsibilitiesProduce drawings and specifications for renovation and restoration projects.Design, detail, and draft plans for various architectural projects.Visit field sites to take measurements and site photographs of existing conditions.Ensure compliance with building codes, particularly for multi-family projects.Travel to field sites as needed for project requirements.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Architecture or a similar field.Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.Knowledge of historic preservation and rehabilitation.Working knowledge of construction document preparation.Additional Skills & QualificationsLicensed Architect (preferred but not required).Experience with mixed-use and special needs housing projects.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Work Environment
