Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer with 3-10 years of experience in a healthcare design setting. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Revit and producing construction document sets within the software. This role is highly design-oriented, and a strong portfolio will be crucial. While the position is within the healthcare studio, we welcome candidates with interior design experience in commercial settings who have an interest in working with healthcare systems.
ResponsibilitiesProduce construction document sets using Revit.Engage in all phases of a project, including schematic design, design development, and construction administration.Collaborate with team members across the NYC, DC, and Richmond, VA offices.Participate in the design process for healthcare and commercial projects.Ensure high-quality design standards and adherence to project timelines.Essential Skills3-10 years of experience in a commercial design setting.Proficiency in Revit and ability to produce construction document sets within the software.Experience and exposure to all phases of a project: schematic design, design development, and construction administration.BS or MS in Architecture.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in healthcare design is a plus.Strong portfolio showcasing design skills in commercial settings.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Work Environment
The work environment is highly collaborative, utilizing the NYC, DC, and Richmond, VA offices to staff all projects. The team operates on a flexible schedule, typically working in-office three days a week. However, for the first 30 days, employees are expected to be in the office for four or more days to become acclimated to the firm and team members. Additional benefits include offsetting the costs of licenses and parking.
