Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Designer to support design teams on base building architecture projects, focusing primarily on industrial and data center projects. This role involves drafting, taking redlines, running project timelines, managing clients and consultants, and potentially overseeing projects from start to finish. A passion for data centers and industrial work is crucial.
ResponsibilitiesSurvey and survey inputSpace planning or space plan inputPick up red lines on CD sets and help produce CD sets with team collaboration/inputAssist with measurements and understand USF, RSF, and core factorsAssist with the CA/submittal phaseHelp assemble drawing sets and coordinate lightly with MEP consultantsMeet with architectural reps and assist in maintaining architectural resources, including CAD symbols, 3D libraries, and hard copy resourcesCreate renderings and help with presentations and colored elevationsPotentially attend some interviews if suitableEssential SkillsProficiency in RevitExperience in architectural design and construction documentationExperience with base building and commercial architectureClient interfacing skillsBasic understanding of codes and ADA compliance3-10 years of experience in the fieldAdditional Skills & QualificationsBS in architecture preferredExperience with industrial architecture (data centers, storage facilities, warehouses) is a bonusExperience with construction administration and project managementKnowledge of design development, schematic design, and construction documentationPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00
