Job Title: Architectural Intern
Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Designer who will be responsible for producing all aspects of construction documents, including picking up redlines and assisting with concept and schematic design. This role includes zoning law and code research, as well as creating permit sets. Candidates with more experience will have opportunities for Construction Administration (CA) work and will operate with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
+ Produce construction documents using Revit.
+ Pick up redlines and make necessary adjustments.
+ Assist in concept and schematic design stages.
+ Conduct zoning law and code research.
+ Prepare permit sets.
+ Opportunity for more experienced candidates to perform Construction Administration tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit.
+ 0-2 years of experience in architecture or a related field.
+ Ability to read and draft technical documents in Revit.
+ Knowledge of building codes and zoning laws.
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Interest in construction is a plus.
Work Environment
The role requires working 5 days in the office, with the possibility of one remote day per week after 90 days. Our company specializes in large cold storage facilities, warehouses, and commercial mixed-use and multi-family conversion projects. The architecture team consists of 8 individuals within a 50-person company. We offer both design and construction services and collaborate closely with our construction team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $26.44
