Architectural Designer
(Job Description) Architectural Firm in Kirkland, WA is currently hiring for an Entry-level Architectural Designer (Design Technician). The Design Technician will be responsible for helping the company bring clients' vision to life. They will play a critical role in the design and planning process for new residential projects with the opportunity to work on all phases of design. This position will start off as a 12-Month Contract-To-Hire (including PTO and Holiday Pay during contract duration) and looking for someone very long-term to continue growing with the company. This position will start off as 5 days onsite during training but will move into having 1 remote days and flexible work schedule after training. Pay - $29/hr. - $31/hr. Location - Kirkland, WA Schedule – Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote after training) - Standard Monday - Friday morning shift with flexibility. (Responsibilities) + Collaborate with Principals and Project Managers to understand client vision and requirements. + Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, renderings and sections, and construction documents. + Utilize building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental impact assessments to inform design decisions. + Coordinate with consultants and professionals to ensure timelines are met. (Qualification Requirements) + 0-3 years of experience in residential architecture (multi-family and multi-unit buildings preferred) design. + Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design highly considered. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup, or similar design software preferred. + Having Archicad experience would be a huge bonus, but the company is willing to teach. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
