Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect / Designer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Architecture or a similar degree, with excellent knowledge of building codes for multi-family projects. Proficiency in Revit and a working knowledge of construction document preparation are essential. The candidate must be an independent self-starter capable of hitting the ground running. Experience in mixed-use, multi-family, and commercial projects is preferred.

ResponsibilitiesManage multi-family, commercial, and NYCHA projects in NYS & NYC.Utilize REVIT and AutoCAD for project design and documentation.Work on historic preservation and rehabilitation projects.Oversee multiple filings and drawing sets for large preservation and rehabilitation multifamily projects across the NY Metro Area.Lead a team of junior architects and consultants.Manage client relationships and meet project deadlines.Visit sites to determine practical solutions to field conditions.Produce drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of thousands of apartments in New York City and the region.Conduct field visits for measurements and site photographs of existing conditions.Design, detail, and draft plans.Travel to project sites as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in RevitKnowledge of construction document preparationUnderstanding of building codes for multi-family projectsExperience with multi-family and commercial projects in NYS & NYCExperience with NYCHA projectsAt least 5 years of experienceProject management experienceExcellent communication and soft skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in ArchitectureExperience with historic preservation and rehabilitationLicensed Architect (a plus)Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Our office is based in Suffern, NY, with the majority of projects located in NYC. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00
