Job Title: Architectural Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented architectural designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic and collaborative studio environment. This position requires a highly motivated and agile individual with strong technical and design capabilities. The successful candidate will work on mission-critical projects and should possess extensive knowledge of Revit, as training will be provided by upper staff.

ResponsibilitiesCompile data and perform design computations in collaboration with the project team.Work with upper designers and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production to deliver projects on time and within budget.Apply creative design concepts to projects and expand on the concepts of others.Participate in project proposals to develop design solutions.Understand industry-standard construction techniques, building regulations, and engineering principles to apply to project plans.Support design efforts and client presentations to develop client relationships.Develop, modify, and review drawings to incorporate the design intent.Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and implementation documents.Collaborate on the development of design throughout appropriate phases of the project.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit.Experience in all phases of design.3-5 years of commercial experience, including construction administration.Experience with construction drawings, design development, and commercial construction.Knowledge of healthcare design and construction documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in architecture preferred.Pursuing licensure.Basic understanding of codes and ADA.Strong client interfacing personality.US Citizenship.Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The company is an international firm with offices in multiple states and a diverse portfolio. The Richmond office has three main studios focusing on healthcare, mission-critical, and sports projects, with additional work in K-12, hospitality, and life sciences. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $36.00/hr.
