The Project Architect is a licensed architect responsible for developing project vision, design, and details for the production of complete, accurate, and well-coordinated design documents. The Project Architect will interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate complex projects and/or multiple projects simultaneously in collaboration with the Project Manager. This role requires a passion for continuous improvement of project deliverables related to overall project design, performance, and technical innovation. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential to foster cooperation with Project Team members and clientele. A strong sense of accountability and the ability to work with colleagues in various roles to ensure project success is a must.
Responsibilities
+ Develop project vision, design, and details for the production of complete and accurate design documents.
+ Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate complex projects and/or multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure project success.
+ Lead a team of professionals and consultants.
+ Manage and oversee other staff, ensuring they produce quality drawings.
+ Handle internal rendering, detailing, and scaling to construction documents.
+ Write and coordinate construction specifications efficiently.
+ Interact professionally with clients, acting as a major point of contact.
+ Manage outsourced work and oversee staff.
+ Address issues promptly and work with Project Managers on financial aspects.
Essential Skills
+ Graduate of an accredited architectural program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
+ Registered/Licensed Architect with 5+ years of industry experience.
+ Proficiency in Autodesk’s AEC Suite, Construction Cloud, and Revit.
+ High-level skills in BIM and Revit from conceptual design to construction documents.
+ Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and presentation skills.
+ Experience in writing specifications.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals and consultants.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in internal renderings, detailing, and scaling.
+ Experience in hospitality, hotel, or multi-family architectural designs.
+ Comfortable with client interaction and presentations.
+ Ability to fit into the company culture and work well with others.
+ Registered Architect (can obtain within 6 months).
Work Environment
The Project Architect will work in an office environment on Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Friday and Monday. The role involves traveling to on-site locations for project kick-offs. The projects are located in beautiful remote locations across the country. The work environment fosters ownership and pride in running one's own projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
