Due to an upcoming retirement, we’re looking for an Architectural Technologist with retail and/or restaurant experience to join a local architectural firm based in Burnaby, BC.
Reporting to an Associate Architect, you’ll be joining a growing firm with a long pipeline of work lined up. 

Architectural Technologist responsibilities: Preparation of preliminary drawings, kitchen layouts, working drawings and details. Provide contract administration such as shop drawing review/SI/RFIs/etc. Coordinate consultants and engineers, and problem-solve technical issues. Work under the guidance of an Associate Architect The successful candidate has:  3+ years minimum experience, with a minimum of 2 years locally in BC Strong technical knowledge in the restaurant and retail industries; or experience drafting shop drawings Strong AutoCAD skills Architecture or Technologist qualification Effective oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and demonstrated the ability to plan, schedule, and execute assignments of broad scope. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and demonstrate high level of attention to detail.
