Position: **Area Automation Specialist Spain - EMEA**
**1.**
**Primary Objective of Position**
+ An Area Automation Specialist is primarily responsible to provide ITM and service support for the most complex repairs and troubleshooting, improve Automation system CPB and performance. In addition, this role provides advanced technical training to service Engineers.
+ The position will have as focus Automation.
+ **Travel across EMEA up to 70%**
**2.**
**Major Accountabilities**
+ Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
+ Provide escalated 3rd Level service support - handling most complex repairs and troubleshooting, escalated from level two and level one service interventions and provide onsite service support as needed.
+ Develop/improve ITM process to accelerate Automation implementation and be actively involved in critical Automation ITM milestones activities as: Live support, Hypercare, continuous improvement and develop processes and tools to track system performance to enhance productivity.
+ Liaison with other Area/Global functions as: Level 4 and Level 5 service support, TSD, Quality and Marketing to improve Automation performance, customer satisfaction and renewal rate.
+ Lead the Automation franchise community in EMEA to successfully deploy ADD strategies and monitor KPI.
+ Define, deploy and measure KPI for CPB reduction initiatives to enhance Automation productivity.
+ Develop internal tools to measure and monitor Automation KPI and prepare/ participate in customer business reviews.
+ Monitor Automation reliability and prepare service recovery plan for Landmark and HCI/HIS accounts.
+ Perform technical coaching and training for Senior Technical Service Specialist, Technical Service Specialist, Abbott Ambassador
+ Participate in Area Expert team for designated products.
+ Analyze existing solutions to provide improvement suggestion.
+ Be actively involve for pilot sites TSB implementation, redline TSB as needed, keep track and ensure completion of Mandatory TSB and FA in EMEA
**3.**
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical I electrical / electronic mechanical or medical technology is preferred.
**4.**
**Background**
+ Preferably 5 years of experience as Technical Service Specialist and or a proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references.
+ Successful engagement with customers, specifically key stakeholders and lab staff.
+ Good product and industry knowledge.
+ Strong experience and process skills of the business functions service delivery.
+ Strong soft and communication skills.
+ Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
+ Technical expert for product line accountability.
+ Coaching and training skills.
+ Strong experience in use of analytical too ls and software.
**5.**

+ System support for 3rd level escalations and liaison with other Global functions
+ Automation training/coaching for the field service community
