**Position Summary**
The Area Barrigel Manager will help increase and lead the Company’s market presence of our revolutionary product as well as existing healthcare delivery solutions. Ideal candidate must be driven to facilitate a culture of innovation, empowerment and speed to market. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and dynamic hands-on professional who relishes a fast-paced environment and responds with flexibility and resilience in demanding performance situations.
**Principal Responsibilities**
This role will provide critical support promoting the product portfolio in the assigned Area and work in conjunction with the Area Sales Director by:
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota and objectives for the defined Area and selected accounts.
• Frequent collaboration with the Area Sales Director and Regional Business Managers to respond to the day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities
• Possess a high level of entrepreneurial drive to expand, grow and own your business by implementing the sales & brand strategies for assigned products within your Area
• Analyze account and area information to create, implement and take ownership of your territory business plans to enhance customer relationships and drive Area sales results
• Call on targeted Health Care Providers; key members of their office staff; local, regional and national Key Opinion Leaders; and hospital/surgical facility staff to effectively promote and educate on the use of PLS products through one-on-one meetings, presentations, professional education programs and other appropriate means
• Strategically identify and build relationships with appropriate new targets
• Effectively utilize selling skills and product knowledge to persuade targeted HCPs to prescribe/choose promoted products
• Effectively optimize call cycling, CRM, sales tools and resources to achieve sales results
• Establish and maintain credentials (via RepTrax, Vendormate, etc) to enter and work in hospitals and other medical facilities as required by facility requirements
• Demonstrate a “business owner” mindset for your Area
• Have the mindset of continuous improvement, thinking “How can I improve on what I am doing?” then use problem-solving skills to develop & implement new strategies and/or tactics
• Work both independently, as well as collaboratively with internal & external partners
• Manage travel and expenses per approved budget
• Understand and efficiently and coherently communicate complex information
• Accomplish goals by the ethical promotion of our products, in alignment with all applicable laws, regulations and client’s policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned
**Education / Experience Requirements**
• BA in Business (or related discipline) or equivalent work experience, or related practical experience.
• Minimum of 12 years’ sales experience within global Healthcare industry
**Specialized Skills / Other Requirements**
• Business-to-business outside sales experience preferred
• Medical Device or Subspecialty Physician therapeutic sales experience is preferred
• Urology related experience is strongly preferred
• Experience leading and selling across functional groups and multiple geographic locations
• Demonstrated evidence as a hard and a smart worker and putting in that extra effort to drive sales
• Be a self-starter and highly motivated
• Be a passionate, high energy, and results oriented
• Ability to travel within territory, domestically up to 50%
• Strong strategic, analytical, and synthesis skills
• Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional team player with ability to lead through influence and drive high-impact outcomes across the organization
