Area Growth Manager PRV and TANK

If you are an Area Growth Manager (AGM) professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in their territory for the product lines they are responsible for.  The AGM will work closely with North American Impact Partners, Global project pursuit, Marketing, Engineering and other resources to develop business growth strategies, build solutions for the industry, open white spaces, displace competition and develop new opportunities. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work with the channel partners to develop and implement sales and promotional growth strategies that support the Business Units strategic plans, as well as review  progress  in the Annual Business Review, 6 month follow-up meeting, and monthly cadence calls. Help develop and approve pricing strategies for accounts, project and/or day opportunities. Build sales tools and training for customers and sales teams. Submit monthly forecasts by product line & project order expectations. Support Sales Channel as point of escalation for issues impacting Business Unit Sales not being addressed by Business Unit resources including, but not limited to, critical order delays, product quality and barriers for business growth caused by Business Unit. Provide subject matter expertise on the product lines and applications to support channel partners in partnering with their customers to tackle their most challenging pressure control needs. Generate and provide application/product training tools/materials to a diverse range of customer facing personnel, ensuring vital levels of expertise is maintained and current. Lead market intelligence activities: market segment & trends; technological advancements; key and strategic account information; competitive intelligence, strategies and product positioning regarding regional economic conditions and changes in customer behaviors.  Participate in industry councils, committees and trade association

 For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s Degree 8 or more years in sales or engineering of technical industrial products  Strong leadership, organizational, written, oral and presentation skills. Independent acumen to make pricing decisions with levels of established delegation of authority Self-driven/self-starter, and able to take new insights from conception to implementation Ability to travel throughout North America 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or engineering related field Experience with developing strategy, business development and market analysis
