The Area Leader of Facilities is responsible for the planning, organization, execution, and communication regarding service-related issues. This role is tasked with leading in their areas and serving as a conduit for both the RSO and facilities program. The Area Leader of Facilities is responsible for handling all aspects of field management.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Manages all Business Unit (BU) area facilities related support, local strategy, and execution including managing service providers to ensure quality, maintain brand standards and maximize life of company assetsActs as the first point of escalation for field facilities emergencies and opportunities and provides emergency support 24/7/365Leads the facilities strategic plan implementation and communicationPartners with cross-functional department initiatives and supportProvides continuous improvement ideas and implements appropriately, participates on the change management process, and may conduct initiative researchContinually provides coaching to all CrewmembersSupports all service-related opportunities, manage work order flow, and operations requestsConducts site assessments (physical and virtual) to ensure properties are maintained to Raising Cane’s expectationsParticipates in new restaurant turnover and 11-month warranty walk-throughsResponds appropriately to customer queries and escalate as neededDevelops a network of quality service providers, executes contracts, and assigns to CMMSAnalyzes service provider scorecards, benchmark performance data, and assess program successPrepares Requests for Proposal (RFP) packages for projectsPrepares job/task specific Scopes of Work (SOW)Reviews proposals and invoices to ensure overall valueInspects quality of service to ensure it meets brand integrityConducts property and equipment assessmentsIdentifies current and future capital needsPartners with BU team to develop project needs, seeks service providers, develops scope, compares bids and obtains approvalPlaces and tracks equipment ordersManages building repairs, improvements, equipment installation, and startupManages work order flow to ensure effective completion to Raising Cane’s expectationsReviews quality, work order performance, and status reportsAnalyzes labor rates, cost of PM services, and competitive bid processesCompletes expense reports and other administrative responsibilitiesQualifications3-5 years of facilities management experience within the restaurant/retail/c-store/grocery industriesKnowledge and experience with the following: HVAC/mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance contracting, kitchen equipment, soda and Co2 systemsProficient in use of a CMMS data baseBlueprint reading experience a plusAble to work remotely and travel 50% or sometimes more depending on construction activitiesMicrosoft proficient with a focus on Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyAble to evaluate work completed to measure effectivenessAble to successfully function during times of uncertainty and changing prioritiesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
