Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are safety, quality, the customer experience, and your department's productivity.
- Review daily work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to meet the overall building objectives;
- Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor, ensuring a seamless and efficient shift while achieving all of your goals;
- Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment for all associates;
- Proactively identify and lead initiatives for process improvement using Lean tools.
Key job responsibilities
You and your team of warehouse associates are responsible for ensuring that Amazon customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You are responsible for ensuring that your team members are properly trained and supported, addressing their needs so they can focus on delivering exceptional results.
In addition, one of the most important aspects of your role is to drive and lead change at internet speed. Innovation has made us the global leader we are today.
