Responsibilities As an Area Manager, you will be providing strong leadership and accountability to multiple teams and their project managers while mentoring them towards success. You will work with leadership and customers regularly to develop our business, inside and out. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge. In addition, you will: Oversee all aspects of telecom engineering including management, quality assurance, production workflow, scheduling, forecasting, status reporting, and resource allocation Develop, maintain, and provide extensive team progress reporting through continued monitoring of job status Update leadership with red flag reports, volume and resource needs, client concerns, and recommended mitigations Work in tandem with various managers across the project to develop, define, and implement processes and employee responsibilities Manage project budgets, invoicing, and financial escalations Coordinate with leadership and clients to manage team workloads and maintain positive working relationships Qualifications About You: Must have experience with, and a solid knowledge of, all telecommunication design aspects including; outside and inside plant, fiber networks, permitting, construction prints, and business processes You have experience mentoring and managing a team comprised of other skilled individuals Must have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with proven problem-solving ability, self-motivation, leadership, and team building capabilities with the ability to motivate others Proven ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels: from team members to executive management Qualifications: Qualify on pre-employment screening Must pass a drug test Obtain satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation and drug screening Work Environment: Virtual Hard work pays off.
