Area Manager - Scotland

Reporting into the Sales manager NW- North  within Nalco Water division this role is responsible for the financial success and day to day operations for Scotland. Working closely with sales teams on strategic current and prospective customers to help define key business decisions that will maintain and grow sales in assigned area sales.

What you will do

Work closely with sales team on strategic current and prospective customers to help define key business decisions.Recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales in assigned area for current and perspective customers.Ensuring all safety training and safety results meet group standards.Responsible for coaching, developing, & deploying Sales team.Accountable for managing people performance within the team.Responsible for forecasting revenues & profitability for area customers.Accountable for the performance & results of a team.Managing P&L for area.Building relationships with key partners and liaising on an ongoing basis.

What you will need

Managerial experience.Typically 4-6 years of successful technical sales and sales management experience.Ability to influence across senior leadership levels of the team and wider organisation.Excellent problem-solving skills.The ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.Ability to coach and support associates to drive business results.Excellent communication required, both written and verbal.Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial)
