Job Summary: 
The Aftermarket Sales Manager represents our client, Ford Motor Company and will be focused on working closely with the Ford Authorized Distributors (FAD’s), the Ford Market Area Aftermarket Parts Managers and the MarketSource Program Director, and the Ford Regional teams building, to grow Ford’s sales revenue, market share and awareness in their assigned areas to targeted levels.
 
Essential Functions:Work closely with FAD’s to achieve Ford Market Area revenue targets.Work closely with the Ford Market Area Aftermarket Parts Manager.Work diligently to be seen as a “value added” partner to FAD’sDevelop and maintain strong relationships with FAD’s.Analyze FAD current state; develop and implement specific FAD Business Plans to deliver results.Partner with the Aftermarket Program Coordinator and the FAD Customer Support Representative to provide efficient timely support for FAD issues.ASA Performance/Inventory Reviews.Prepare and conduct ASA audits for compliance.Work to ensure that FAD’s in assigned market are at optimal stocking levels.POPP Assistance/Inventory Scrap.Conduct line review.Training FAD Sales personnel-Ride-a-Longs.Working independently in the field calling on IRF’s driving business to the FAD’s.Working trade shows and other identified events as needed.Provide Sales Blitz support.Support new applications, product launches and incentives.Perform quarterly “gap” reports to insure inventory is positioned properly.Constantly evaluate Ford product shelf space vs Competition at assigned FAD’s.Ability to handle work pressures, meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple priorities.Demonstrate responsible, ethical and honest behavior is consistent and fair when dealing with others; keeps commitments.Act in accordance with the code of conduct, and confidentiality; holds self and team to high standards established by Ford Motor Company.Work diligently to ensure the ongoing success of the Professional Service Network.Drive sales to local independent parts stores through the FAD channel.Identify gaps in supply of Motorcraft and Omnicraft parts and relay information to the general office.Work with the General office and field teams to identify and cultivate new FAD’s.
