Position Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Sales Canada, the Area Sales Manager will develop a targeted strategy and market development plan for the client’s products within a designated territory. Working closely with the Canadian team, you will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, spotting market trends, and contributing to a long-term roadmap for continued product expansion in your region.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing sales strategies aligned with the client’s Strategic Sales PlanIdentifying quarterly and long-term business opportunities to meet growth targetsEvaluating local markets and maximizing sales opportunities within the assigned territoryAnalysing industry trends, competitive products, and market dynamicsSupporting digital marketing and sales initiatives for product outreach within CanadaRepresenting the client at trade shows, conferences, and market events to generate leads and build market presenceQualifications
Proven experience in industrial and building automation sales with a solid understanding of automation productsStrong strategic planning and market forecasting abilities on a local levelCET or engineering degree preferred
