We are looking for an Area Sales Manager based in either Singapore or Malaysia to support and drive sales in region.
Responsibilities for the position include:
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify emerging market trends, regulatory changes, and industry challenges to develop targeted sales approaches.Drive expansion into new APAC markets, leveraging local networks and strategic partnerships.Work closely with product development and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.Lead contract negotiations and high-value tender processes for municipal and industrial projects.Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Maintain strong relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and key decision-makers in the water sector.Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term contract retention through effective relationship management.We are looking for someone who has:
• A demonstrable track record of selling technology solutions into the water industry, with experience in the B2B environment supported by solid business acumen
• Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective
• Knowledge of target clients, markets and drivers relevant to the markets Mueller Technology Products & services sell into, including the current market structure (e.g. regulation and concessions)
• Proven track record of exceeding established sales quotas
