Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. You will be focusing on channel acquisition, helping securing opportunities, liaising with cross-functional teams and overall coordination of the sales process, including pricing, positioning and product trainings.The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-HybridThe role is contributing to the Motion / IEC LV Motors division in East Asia. You will be working closely with the global division sales organization, as well as the cross-functional teams located in the factories.Travelling for the role will be approximately 30-40%.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tBudget and Performance Management: Deliver budget expectations, support LSUs in order delivery, and proactively address performance shortfalls.•\tCustomer and Channel Acquisition: Identify and evaluate opportunities, execute acquisition plans, and support global frame agreements.•\tOrder Securing and Pricing: Assist with pricing strategies, provide front-line pricing support, and ensure profitable orders.•\tProduct and Competence Development: Oversee product launches, ensure adequate training for sales teams, and maintain a competitive product portfolio.

Qualifications for the role

\tMinimum 8-10 years of experience in a Sales or Sales Support type of position.\tExperience working with electric motors in a technical or sales role.\tUniversity degree in Electrical Engineering or any other Engineering related field.\tProven background and market understanding within the motors and drives industry.\tProactive work-style, self-starter and focus on opportunity development.\tSolid interpersonal and communication skills.\tAbility to coordinate and communicate with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams across all levels.\tGood coordination skills, ability to influence without authority.\tFluent English language skills.
