Position Overview: The Area Vice President, Sales, is responsible for the oversight of Regional Vice President Sales Leaders, while setting strategy and direction for overall sales growth across the Inside Sales division. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to inspire a large team of sales professionals through exceptional coaching and development. This candidate must have a proven track record in leading leaders, and an extensive background in growing a sales organization.

Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy for the division Lead 5-8 Leader of Leaders and their teams (500+ sales employees) Execute on the four pillars: Staffing, Channels, Activity, and Breadth of Participation Set strategy to achieve staffing and revenue growth Communicate relevant and timely results to Senior Vice President, Sales and Senior Leadership with limited notice Hold leaders and sales reps accountable for sales revenue, activity standards, hiring for talent, career development, sales process, and day-to-day responsibilities of leading high performing teams. Regularly review team performance to ensure sales and quota responsibilities are being met across all sales teams Partner with cross-functional teams to recruit, hire and train diverse sales talent Responsible for territory optimization and assigning quotas Requirements
12+ years of experience in leading sales leaders Proven experience with payroll, HR, and time and attendance solutions as well as large, complex organizations 5+ years of sales experience with SaaS solutions (or specific sales type experience) A demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams and managing other leaders within an organization. Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales organization Strong leadership qualities with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements Willingness to travel and work in a virtual environment

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $166,300 - $308,800 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
