Responsibilities: + Interacts with guests and associates to proactively identify suspicion indicators, assess threat potential, and engage in security interviewing to deter and prevent malicious acts. + Serves as a general security presence and deterrent to crime and rule infractions while assigned to a fixed post. + Utilizes quick decision-making skills and sound judgement to respond to and address situations beyond the capabilities of unarmed security associates. + Requests assistance of law enforcement as necessary. + Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guests or working with fellow associates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions. Qualifications: + Must possess a current OPOTC 20-hour firearms certification and provide 2 letters of recommendation. + Ability to pass a BCI and FBI background check. + Successful completion of the OPOTC firearms course and practical exam before their first day of work + People who interact well with others from all backgrounds and age groups. + Individuals who work well within a team with a commitment to safety. + Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. + Ability to work at least 4 days a week. + People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
