**The Army Aviation Site Manager (UH-60, AH-64, CH-47)** manages all operational functions and activities at the designated site. Directs the accomplishment of site-specific program goals and monitors and reports their achievement. Manages the operating budget, manpower, resources and facilities in performance of contract responsibilities. Responsible for and adheres to all aspects of government and corporate standards.
+ Manages a wide and broad variety of services and accompanying labor force for assigned location.
+ Plans, coordinates and supervises all contract activities and serves as the principal representative for Amentum in all matters pertaining to the contract. Continually measures and analyzes progress.
+ Responsible for personnel, finance, training, supply systems and support services necessary for specific site contract.
+ Coordinates and maintains positive and effective relationships with a variation of the following: American Embassy, military officials, local government officials, local police representatives, Amentum and local business officials as required.
+ Provides for sufficient and viable contract performance through effective leadership of the site, to include compliance with quality and safety/environmental standards. Meets or exceeds all performance requirements.
+ Effectively manages any Amentum employee management issues that may arise.
+ Communicates new requirements, concerns, and issues to PMO for resolution.
+ Provides for the welfare of the personnel and the enhancement of the contract, to include optimizing the balance between resources of manpower, equipment, time, materials, and money.
+ Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management and interested US Government personnel apprised on current status of operations, and maintenance and any other special interest items.
+ Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High School diploma or GED Equivalent is Required.
+ A valid (FAA) A&P certificate is preferred, not required.
+ **Ten (10) years Minimum Aviation maintenance** experience on the assigned aircraft **(UH-60, AH-64 Or CH-47)** , with **Five (5) years of Supervisory** experience Required.
+ **Five (5) years of US Army Aviation maintenance** experience on assigned (MDS) Mission Design Series **(UH-60, AH-64, Or CH-47)** And Two (2) years of **US Army aviation maintenance supervisory** experience Required.
+ Knowledge of operations specific to Army Rotary Wing Aviation contract and safe working techniques and procedures, Skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management.
+ Ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively at senior management levels; with Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large and diverse workforce.
+ In-depth knowledge of flight line operations, aircraft/vehicle movement, and safety/hazards, with working knowledge of OSHA.
+ Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements and to direct skilled technicians in the daily performance of their duties, with the ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.
+ Advanced knowledge of aircraft common and special tools and test equipment, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications and schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications, aircraft engine, landing gear, and flight control systems **(UH-60, AH-64, CH-47).**
+ Knowledge of the NASA Aircraft Maintenance Information System (NAMIS) preferred to record maintenance actions, determines aircraft status, research aircraft historical records, and verifies aircraft is flight ready.
+ Travel is required, up to (25%). Position requires ability and availability for routine travel to Program and site operating locations.
**Security Clearance Requirements**
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a NAC-I (T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. **US Citizenship is required for** facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.
**Additional and Physical Requirements**
+ Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Must possess planning/organizational skills.
+ Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies, and other challenging situations; Must be able to work under deadlines.
+ Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements is preferred.
+ Competent in the use of a computer, to include Microsoft Office Suite, especially Work, Outlook, and Excel.
+ Typical office environment with no unusual hazards
+ Occasional lifting to 20 pounds
+ Constant sitting while using the computer terminal
+ Constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents
+ Constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communications and constant mental alertness.
