**The Army Aviation Tool & Parts Attendant** (C-12, King Air) Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in industrial establishment. + Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in industrial establishment. + Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers. + Searches for lost or misplaced tools. + Prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed. + Unpacks and stores new equipment. + Visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors. + May coat tools with grease or other preservative, using brush or spray gun. + May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment, using electric marking tool. + All other duties as assigned. + Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. **Minimum Requirements** + High school diploma or equivalent is Required and specialized training school is desired. + Minimum of One (1) year experience in Army Aviation Tool Room experience, and the repair, modification, and maintenance of systems related to individual specialty codes. + Personnel within this classification must be specialized in one or more of the following SCA Occupational Codes: 21210- Tools and Parts Attendant and 21210 Tool and Parts Attendant (FS-4002a rev. 9/01/06). + Must be able to distinguish color and judge three dimensional depths. + Must have minimum 20/100 near and far vision, correctable to 20/20. + Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance + Valid Driver's License is Required. **Security Clearance Requirements** + Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization. **US Citizenship is required** to hold a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility. **Preferred Qualifications** + Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for up to six hours per day and sit for up to two hours per day. + Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands. + Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders. + May be required to carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds. + Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sounds. + May be required to lift up to 35 pounds to height of four feet and be required to lift up to 35 pounds to height of 7 feet. + Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales. + Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print. + May be required to operate power, machinery, hand tools, etc. + Will be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure. + May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft. + May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
