**ARPA-H – International Health Affairs Specialist (Advanced)** Amentum is looking for experienced personnel to expand our healthcare technology development support capabilities at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). Founded in 2022, ARPA-H is a Federal research funding agency that supports transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all. ARPA-H advances high-potential, high-impact biomedical and health research that cannot be readily accomplished through traditional research or commercial activity to develop solutions to society's most challenging health problems. We are interested in individuals who have experience supporting leadership personnel at a Federal or State agency or major private sector company. International Health Affairs Specialists will support the Division of International Affairs (DIA), regularly interacting with Government office leadership as well as Program Managers and support teams from throughout the Agency. International Health Affairs Specialists will assist office leadership with the development and implementation of international strategies and associated work plans. **Responsibilities will include:** + Advise the Division Director and other senior leadership on Agency strategy and potential initiatives in assigned region(s), including recommendations on international approaches and engagements that will further the Agency’s goals + Provide analysis and data collection; develop read-aheads and white papers for key ARPA-H engagements with the international acquisition and policy communities + Review, analyze, and provide recommendations on international technology transfer issues and policy to include such specialized topics as manufacturing technology, industrial espionage, country-to-country agreements, and national security + Evaluate international programs based on performance metrics and agreed upon goals and objectives **Minimum Requirements:** + Master’s degree in any field with at least 10 years of relevant experience + Experience in external engagement triage/tracking, project management, strategy development + Experience in global health security, policy development, biosecurity, or public health security policy + Policy experience in foreign affairs, international relations, global health security, or economics + The demonstrated professionalism, maturity, sound judgement, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for daily interactions with executive-level audiences in a dynamic, high-visibility support office environment + Ability to work independently or in a team setting as circumstances dictate + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Publlic Trust US Government Clearance.Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Publlic Trust ​ Clearance. **Highly Desired Attributes:** + Experience advising government agencies on biosecurity or public health security issues + ARPA-H experience + Other ARPA agency (DARPA, IARPA, ARPA-E, etc.) experience + National Institute of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), or Department of Defense (DoD) experience + Experience in a R&D environment Hybrid and telework options are likely but residence within Washington, DC metropolitan area is desired.
