Art Director

Join LEARFIELD’s Partnership Solutions team as a lead creative in our multi-media rights Sports Properties division. We're seeking a dynamic Art Director whose finger is directly on the pulse of design within the sports industry and can bring college athletics sponsorship opportunities to life through show-stopping visuals. This role will craft top-of-the-line creative to engage partners in markets across the nation, as well as manage a small team of direct reports on the Graphics team. The final candidate must be passionate about providing creative solutions, highly skilled in graphic design, and ready to get in the game.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a dynamic pipeline of projects, working closely with Creative Services Director develop a variety of creative assets for local sales materials Supervise, mentor, and inspire graphic designers reporting to the position, providing guidance and constructive feedback to foster professional growth Oversee direct reports’ project assignments, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs that align with brand standards Collaborate closely with sports properties, brand strategists and insights team to design tailored materials that effectively communicate value propositions Connect with key stakeholders to identify goals and audience needs. Design and develop presentation slides that align with the school’s brand guidelines Organize and structure sales materials content for clarity and coherence Create data visualizations, infographics, and multimedia elements Revise designs based on feedback to achieve optimal results Stay updated on sports business, digital design trends and best practices

 

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design (or related field) Expert of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Strong creative portfolio that demonstrates skills within presentation design 7+ years of design experience in designing for multiple media formats 2+ years designing presentations or digital multi-page layout 2+ years of managing creative roles Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills Ability to work both independently and with a team

 

Nice to Have:

Branding experience Data visualization design experience Video and animation skills 1+ years of experience managing other designers 1+ years of experience working in sales and/or sales marketing teams 1+ years of experience working in the athletics, live entertainment, or similar industries
