Element has an opportunity for an Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join our growing team based at Stockport. P401 qualification preferred, with experience within a UKAS accredited laboratory in the analysis of bulk samples from a variety of buildings/environments. Applicants with the desire to learn our business and train to become an Asbestos Bulk Analyst may be considered.
Element's Asbestos Testing services can help confirm and identify the presence of asbestos and ensure compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations. On-site or in-lab, our qualified experts minimize your exposure risk through testing and sample collection, providing reliable results for safeguarding health and legal compliance.
Responsibilities Delivering prompt and accurate results in support of our survey programmes and testing services
Analysing samples to detect asbestos using polarised light microscopyOccasional client liaison on status of orders and test progressCalibration of lab and site air testing equipment.Monitoring and ordering of lab stock levels.
Skills / Qualifications P401 qualified preferredAdditional relevant PCerts would be advantageous. Knowledge and experience of working within the general laboratory environment is also beneficial.Knowledge and experience of working within the general laboratory environment is also beneficialMS Office skills including Word and Excel are desirableYou will be educated to a good general standard including English and Maths
