Job Description + Actalent is seeking multiple Asbestos Project Monitors to + conduct on-site asbestos project monitoring through the 5 boroughs, ensuring + compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards. This role + involves documenting project progress using a tablet, performing air sampling + and analysis, and maintaining accurate records. Effective communication with + project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders is essential to meet + project objectives. Responsibilities + Conduct on-site asbestos project monitoring to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. + Utilize a tablet in the field to document project progress, collect data, and generate reports. + Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. + Perform air sampling and analysis to assess asbestos levels and ensure a safe working environment. + Maintain accurate records of all project activities and findings. Essential Skills + Experience in environmental science and environmental fieldwork. + Maximum of 3 years of experience in asbestos project monitoring or a related field. + Valid Asbestos Project Monitor certification. + Experience with air sampling and OSHA 10. + Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Additional Skills & Qualifications + HAZWOPER certification. + Associates, BS, or MS in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field. + Capable of using a tablet for fieldwork and data collection.
