Job Description

Actalent is seeking multiple Asbestos Project Monitors toconduct on-site asbestos project monitoring through the 5 boroughs, ensuringcompliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards. This roleinvolves documenting project progress using a tablet, performing air samplingand analysis, and maintaining accurate records. Effective communication withproject managers, contractors, and other stakeholders is essential to meetproject objectives.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site asbestos project monitoring to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.Utilize a tablet in the field to document project progress, collect data, and generate reports.Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Perform air sampling and analysis to assess asbestos levels and ensure a safe working environment.Maintain accurate records of all project activities and findings.

Essential Skills

Experience in environmental science and environmental fieldwork.Maximum of 3 years of experience in asbestos project monitoring or a related field.Valid Asbestos Project Monitor certification.Experience with air sampling and OSHA 10.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

HAZWOPER certification.Associates, BS, or MS in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.Capable of using a tablet for fieldwork and data collection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
