Essential Skills + Environmental science + Environmental field + Hazwoper certification + Environmental inspection + Air sampling + Maximum of 3 years of experience in asbestos project monitoring or a related field + MS Office Suite Experience + Valid Asbestos Project Monitor certification Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with air sampling + OSHA 10 + OSHA 40 hour + Associates, BS, or MS in Environmental Science, Biology or related field + Capable of using a tablet for fieldwork and data collection + OSHA 40 Hazwoper Work Environment Will report to Senior Environmental Scientists. Team consists of 10-15 Environmental Scientists and Inspectors. This is a field-based position working on projects throughout New York City and the Five Boroughs. You will work on NYC Agency Projects and will be conducting sampling in the field. The office is located in Midtown, New York. The culture is fun and collaborative, with opportunities for growth and learning from senior staff. Additional certifications will be paid for during your first week of training.
