Aseptic Production Manager

Description We are in the process of recruiting an Aseptic Production Manager for our operations in the Paper/Packaging industry, located in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to our team, primarily overseeing the parts purchasing team, managing vendor relations, and conducting system audits. This role also involves cross-departmental collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the parts purchasing team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in procurement processes.
• Handle the MVP system to guarantee effective and efficient purchasing activities.
• Source and establish connections with key parts vendors to ensure the continuous supply of essential components.
• Manage vendor service contracts at a national level, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular audits of the MVP system to identify areas for improvement and ensure programs are functioning as intended.
• Supervise the maintenance planner and preventive maintenance program, ensuring timely completion of activities that meet quality standards.
• Monitor and track various data sets related to parts, vendors, contracts, and maintenance activities, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the operations systems and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to align purchasing, vendor management, and maintenance planning with broader organizational objectives. Requirements • Proven experience in a managerial role within aseptic production or related field is required.
• Proficiency in using 3M, CRM, Eaton, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
• Familiarity with ERP solutions and About Time software.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Experience in KPI reporting and logistics management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process in the paper/packaging industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with an ability to motivate staff to achieve production goals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for efficiency and detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team coordination and client correspondence.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A commitment to adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations in aseptic production.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
