Execute trades on US and UK balance sheet, such as in emerging market interest rate products, including government bonds, interest rate swaps, futures contracts, and other relevant derivatives. Monitor market conditions, identify trading opportunities, and execute trades in a timely manner to maximize profitability. Assess and manage risk exposure associated with trading positions. Conduct thorough analysis of market data, economic indicators, and geopolitical events to evaluate potential risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies. Monitor portfolio performance and make necessary adjustments to mitigate risk. Stay up to date with economic and political developments in emerging markets. Analyze macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, and geopolitical events to assess their impact on interest rates and market dynamics. Conduct in-depth research to identify trends and opportunities in emerging market interest rate products. Perform quantitative and market analysis using Python, VBA, and R programing languages to derive market insights, identify trading opportunities, and automate inefficient trading processes. Develop trading strategies based on market analysis, risk assessment, and trading objectives. Collaborate with the research team, economists, and other traders to refine trading strategies and adapt to changing market conditions. Implement and execute trading strategies effectively. Build and maintain relationships with key market participants, including brokers, counterparties, and institutional clients. Develop a network of industry contacts to stay informed about market developments and trading opportunities. Collaborate with sales and relationship managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Utilize trading platforms, risk management systems, and other relevant technologies to execute trades, monitor positions, and analyze market data. Stay informed about advancements in trading technology and identify opportunities to enhance trading efficiency and effectiveness. Adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and compliance guidelines while executing trades. Stay updated with relevant regulations and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) procedures.
