**Summary:** We are looking for an experienced manager to support the Silicon Optimization team, in the Silicon Lifecycle Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will be a technical manager with experience in building complex ASICs and delivering them at scale. We seek a leader with cross-functional partnership experience and proven track record in building reliable and performant ASICs. They should have experience with test frameworks, tooling and diagnostics, production deployments, debugs, root-cause analysis, and vendor relationships. **Required Skills:** ASIC Engineering Manager, Infra Silicon Responsibilities: 1. Manage the Silicon Optimization team, working closely with validation, firmware, platform software, system and data center teams to resolve Silicon issues in our production fleet. 2. Partner with cross-functional teams such as HW/SW Co-design, RTL design, verification, emulation teams for building next-generation silicon, and design features for increased diagnosis and reliability, and support rapid deployment into Meta data centers. 3. Identify candidates, hire, schedule, support, mentor and train a team of ASIC engineers in order to scale our infra silicon to satisfy Meta application requirements. 4. Contribute to, analyze, review SOWs from vendors, supporting documentation, requirements sets that meet the needs of internal customers. 5. Partner with technical program management and supply chain team members to manage external development partners, suppliers and vendors. 6. Partner with machine learning and AI application and software teams to understand key workload performance and reliability requirements, and deploy optimizations at scale across different stages of the lifecycle. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 7. B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related technical fields 8. 10+ years of experience working in an ASIC architecture, ASIC firmware, ASIC tooling, RAS or Lifecycle teams. 9. 3+ years of experience as a People Manager. 10. Experience working across multiple projects and adjusting priorities in partnership with stakeholders 11. Experience in C/C++ or any other programming languages. **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 12. Experience in computer architecture, and evaluation of architectural tradeoffs across the layers of the stack. 13. Experience in root-causing, debugging Silicon issues in production environments. 14. Experience working with vendors on failure analysis, root-cause analysis and firmware releases to address issues post-deployment. 15.
